Teaching And Supervision

I have taught and supervised at all levels in university as you can read about below.

Teaching

In recent years, I have primarily taught an introduction to the field of political behavior. I have also taught classes on more specific topics, including immigration and political geography, as well as methods.

I have been fortunate enough to be awarded for my teaching. At UCL, I was nominated for the university-wide Student Choice Awards for Brilliant Research-based Education as the only nominee from the Social and Historical sciences. At the University of Copenhagen I have won the teacher of the year award for undergraduate (BA-level) teaching in 2013, and have been nominated on other occasions.

Ph.D. Supervision

I have supervised the following Ph.D. students at the University of Copenhagen:

  • Marie Heldgaard Seestedt (secondary supervisor; ongoing)

  • Christoffer Hentzer Daugaard (secondary supervisor; ongoing)

  • Tobias Heide-Jørgensen (main supervisor; defended April 2023)

  • Livia Rohrbach (main supervisor; defended May 2020)

  • Malte Dahl Jacobsen (main supervisor; defended December 2019)

  • Rasmus Fonnesbæk Andersen (main supervisor; defended Feb. 2017)

  • Frederik Hjorth (main supervisor; defended May 2016)

If you are interested in writing a Ph.D. under my supervision, please reach out to me and we can set up a meeting to discuss further.
